How to apply

Remember that in order to enroll at any NYC public school you must already have an address in New York City. This means we cannot enroll students until they are already living in New York.

There are two ways to apply to The International High School for Health Sciences:

Method 1

If you are already in middle school in New York City, please rank us on your list of 12 schools when you submit your application. Our school code is Q63A and you can ask your Guidance Counselor for help. If we are your first choice, you should put us first. Keep in mind that if you arrived in the United States before 5th grade, you are not eligible to attend our school.

Method 2

If you have just arrived in the United States and are looking for a high school, you can go directly to the Welcome Center located at 28-11 Queens Plaza North, 3rd Floor, Long Island City, NY 11101 or email them at: QueensPlazaNFWC@schools.nyc.gov and ask for a referral to our school. If you are not able to do that, you can also come directly to our main office and our Parent Coordinator can assist with the process.
